Mit Objektkonstruktionen in einem zitatreichen Setting befragt Performer*in Li Kemme mit »KIP|/_PEN« unsere Einstellung zu irreversiblen Vorgängen in krisenhaften Zeiten. »KIP|/_PEN« lädt ein zum kreativen, lustvollen Spiel mit Physik wie Politik und bringt den Abend selbst ins Kippen. Mit einem multidisziplinären Team entsteht eine theatrale Anordnung zwischen Labor, Baustelle und Spielplatz für ein intergeneratio-nelles Publikum.

Li Kemme ist Künstler*in im Bereich Figurentheater, Performance und Bau. Seit Abschluss des Figurentheaterstudiums an der HMDK Stuttgart 2019, kollaboriert Li Kemme mit Kompanien und Kollektiven. Daraus sind Arbeiten wie das digitale Figurentheater WASTESCAPE (Schaubude Berlin, 2022), die Lecture-Performance Komplex! (Kompanie1/10, 2020), die Konzert-Performance Um Berge zu vernetzen (Gerdas Knochen, 2020) und die Performance STRESS (Gruppe CIS, 2020) entstanden. Li Kemmes Arbeiten kombinieren performative und installative Ansätze und integrieren das Publikum in die Performance. Wichtige Arbeiten sind die installative Performance Echo of an End (2019), die Solo-Performance ich bin gut isoliert (2019), sowie die interaktiven Installationen und Straßentheaterperformances HEART (2020) und Seedbomb For A Future (2022). 2021 kuratierte Li Kemme die Konferenz Utopie! konkret zur Zukunft des Figurentheaters am Fitz! Stuttgart, sowie 2022 das Netzwerktreffen der Freien Szene Leipzig Flash Over! im Rahmen der Initiative Leipzig+Kultur und erhielt 2019 den Fritz-Wortelmann-Preis für professionellen Nachwuchs im Figurentheater.

How fascinating when something becomes an opportunity that simultaneously represents a great danger! Humans, perceiving themselves as the measure of all things, always on the move, between fear and euphoria, examine the environment, explore the basis of their own lives and often only realise in retrospect: this was a tipping point.

With "KIP|/_PEN", performer Li Kemme uses object constructions in a setting rich in quotations to question our attitude to irreversible processes in times of crisis. "KIP|/_PEN" invites us to play with physics and politics in a creative, pleasurable way and turns the evening itself on its head. A multidisciplinary team creates a theatrical arrangement between laboratory, construction site and playground for an intergenerational audience.

Li Kemme is an artist in the field of puppet theatre, performance and construction. Since completing her puppet theatre studies at the HMDK Stuttgart in 2019, Li Kemme has collaborated with companies and collectives. In 2021, Li Kemme curated the conference Utopie! konkret on the future of puppet theatre at Fitz! Stuttgart, and in 2022 the network meeting of the Leipzig independent scene Flash Over! as part of the Leipzig+Kultur initiative and received the Fritz Wortelmann Prize for young professionals in puppet theatre in 2019.
